Is CloudOps Network free for engineers?
Yes, permanently. No joining fee, no subscription, no listing fee and no commission on your own client rate.
How do you make money then?
CloudOps Network is compensated through the partner structures behind the funded work, and through margin on client engagements where we contract delivery. Neither comes out of your fee.
Who holds the partner status behind the funded programmes?
The programmes run through accredited partner entities within the network's delivery structure. The specific programme, and the named applicant on any submission, are shared with you during opportunity intake, not published on this website.
Why is the network invite only?
Because a shortlist is only worth something if a person has actually assessed everyone on it. Open registration produces volume, and volume is what makes existing talent platforms unusable for buyers.
Will you compete with me for my clients?
No. Client relationships you bring stay yours, and that is written into the subcontractor agreement rather than promised in conversation.
What happens if a client does not pay?
Payment to you follows the terms in the purchase order. Collection risk on the client side sits with CloudOps Network as the contracting party, not with you.
Can I stay anonymous until I decide?
The invite request needs enough to assess you. Nothing is shared with any client until you have agreed to a specific match.
How often will I hear from you?
When there is a match worth your time. There is no drip sequence and no weekly newsletter.
Can I refer other engineers?
Yes, and referral is how most members arrive. Referrals go through the same verification as anyone else.
Which regions do you operate in?
North America, the UK and EU, the Middle East, India, Singapore and Australia. Some benefit pathways carry regional constraints, confirmed at intake.
Do I need my own company to join?
Not necessarily. Contracting arrangements vary by country, and we will tell you what is required in yours during onboarding.
What if I want to leave?
Give notice under the subcontractor agreement. Work in flight finishes on the terms already agreed and nothing else is owed.

Tell us what you build, where you work and what you are certified in. If there is a fit you will hear from a person, not an autoresponder.
Joining is free. It always will be. Engineers are never charged to be matched or to receive benefits.
