Your work already qualifies for things you cannot claim alone

Independent engineers deliver a large share of cloud and AI projects and are shut out of the funding structures built around them, because those structures require partner status. CloudOps Network is the route in.

Funded programmes require accredited partner status. Your qualifying projects are routed through the accredited partner structures behind the network.

CloudOps Network is an invite-only network for independent cloud and AI engineers. Members are matched to project work from qualified companies, and on qualifying projects can access provider-funded benefit pathways that pay cash to the engineer and cloud credits to their customer. Membership is free and no commission is taken from the engineer's rate.

From invite to first payment

  1. Request an invite

Tell us what you build, where you are, and what you are certified in. A person reviews it.

  2. Verification

We verify your certifications at source and take two references. Same standard we apply before putting anyone in front of a client.

  3. Onboarding

One subcontractor agreement covering scope, IP, confidentiality and payment terms. Read it properly; we would rather you asked questions now.

  4. Matching or opportunity intake

Either we match you to an incoming brief, or you bring us a project you are already working on to check against benefit eligibility.

  5. Purchase order

Nothing starts before a purchase order is issued. Not a verbal approval, not a pre-approval. This protects you as much as it protects us.

  6. Delivery and payment

You deliver with a named delivery lead reviewing against the statement of work. Payment follows the milestones written in the purchase order.

What we ask of you

This is a network with a compliance obligation behind it, and the obligation is real. every funded engagement runs through accredited partner structures with reporting obligations attached, and one inaccurate claim puts the standing that every member depends on at risk.

So the standards are not decoration. Engineers who overstate scope, start work before a purchase order, or misrepresent a customer situation leave the network. That rule protects everyone still in it.

  • Accurate representation

Scope, timelines and customer details as they actually are. Inflated claims are the one thing that ends membership immediately.

  • No work before a purchase order

Work started early cannot be covered, and we will not backdate anything.

  • Customer transparency

We give you a script. Customers respond well, because they get the credits.

  • Delivery you would sign your name to

Your record follows you through the network, and it is what gets you the next match.

Engineer questions

What does it cost to join the network?

Nothing, at any stage. There is no membership fee, no listing fee, no commission taken from your rate, and no charge for receiving benefits on a qualifying project.

What do I actually get?

Two things. Matched work from companies that have already been qualified, so you are not writing proposals into silence. And access to provider-funded benefits on qualifying projects, which means a cash benefit to you and cloud credits for your customer.

Why can I not access those benefits on my own?

Because the programmes behind them are only open to cloud partners holding specific tier and competency status, with the audit and reporting obligations that come with it. The accredited partner structures behind the network hold that status and do that reporting. You deliver as a subcontractor within that structure.

Does my customer have to know?

We recommend telling them, and we give you a short script for the conversation. The credits go to their account, so it is a good conversation to have rather than an awkward one.

Do I have to give up my client relationship?

No. The client stays yours. CloudOps Network is the contracting party for the funded work, and the commercial terms are set out before anything starts.

How much work is the paperwork?

A subcontractor agreement once, then a short intake per opportunity. Submissions, programme reporting and compliance are handled on our side, which is most of the actual burden.

When do I get paid?

Against milestones defined in the purchase order, on terms stated before you start. Payment timing is the thing engineers get burned on most often, so we put it in writing up front.

Is this available in my country?

The network operates across North America, the UK and EU, the Middle East, India, Singapore and Australia. Some benefit pathways have regional constraints, which we confirm during opportunity intake rather than after.

What members say

Engineers on why they stay, in their own words.

The vetting was real, and so was the first match. Three weeks after my invite I was on a migration that fit my exact stack, at my rate, with a purchase order before I wrote a line.

Rohan M.DevOps engineer · Pune

I brought my own customer through intake mostly to test the claim. The credits landed in their account, the cash benefit paid against milestones, and the client relationship stayed mine.

Elena K.Cloud engineer · Lisbon

No platform fee and no commission sounded too good until I saw where the economics come from. The compliance bar is strict, and honestly that is why the benefits keep working.
